My initial flight from Harrisburg to Dulles was delayed 50 minutes. I had to powerwalk across the vastness that is the Washington D.C. International Airport to get to gate B51, seconds before they closed the gate. Needless to say my luggage never made the flight.
I actually enjoyed the 7 hour plane ride. I saw Kate Winslet's most recent work of art (The Reader), met some North Carolinians, had a shot of Bailey's and slept one hour. I made it to Vienna all by myself. I was already feeling optimistic about the entire experience once aboard my first flight, where the smell of booze wafted through the aisles. Oh, liquored flyers.

My laptop is dying. And my cord is somewhere on an airplane headed for Europe. Shoot.
To be continued...
